Tomas Trevino, Jr. 84, of Caldwell, died Thursday, November 27, 2025. He was born on March 8, 1941, in La Grulla, Texas, to Thomas Trevino, Sr. and Genoveva Trevino.
His family were migrant workers who migrated throughout various states which included Texas, California, Washington before settling in Idaho, where he lived most of his life.
He worked as a farm laborer as well as a mechanic. He was loved by many as it is evident by the amount of friends he had.
He is survived by his four daughters: Diane Alvarez (Art), Sylvia Granillo (Edward), Adriana Mendoza, and Veronica Trevino; and numerous siblings and grandchildren. He is reunited with his wife, Elvira Trevino, and his three sons: Carlos Trevino, Daniel Trevino, and Hector Mendoza.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 5-8:00 pm at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, 624 Cleveland Blvd. in Caldwell, with a rosary to begin at 7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 1122 W. Linden Street in Caldwell, with a burial to immediately follow at Wilder Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. (208) 459-0833
