It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Tena Kelley, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who left this world on December 8, 2025, in Winter Haven, Florida. Tena was born on August 27, 1949, in Charleston, West Virginia, but moved to Florida 15 years ago.  

An active member of the American Legion, Tena embraced her community and was an ardent supporter of those who served. Her passions included boating, snowmobiling, and indulging in the thrill of finding treasures at antique stores. Tena had a vibrant spirit and a contagious enthusiasm for life that resonated with everyone who knew her.  Tena touched the lives of those around her with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering honesty. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Margaret Wert; husband, Michael Kelley. She is survived by her sons, Tim (Daneen) Wert, Steve (Terica) Wert; her daughter, Misty Kelley; grandchildren, Brittany, Victoria, Jonathan, Derek, Joshua, Samantha, Thomas, and Jordan, as well as her numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Susan Wert.   

Though she has departed from this world, Tena’s legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness will endure in the hearts of all who were privileged to know her. In this time of mourning, the family invites you to remember Tena not with sadness, but with gratitude for the moments shared and the love she gave so freely. Her light will continue to shine brightly through the lives she touched and her family whom she adored so dearly.
