Yolanda Anzaldua, 79, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born February 27, 1946 in McAllen, Texas to Guadalupe and Paula Salinas. Yolanda lived in Texas until she made her home in Caldwell, Idaho in the early 1970s. In 1979, she met her for life and married him after just two weeks. She worked at and eventually retired from Simplot’s.
She loved watching her game shows, food channels and lifetime. You would always see her doing her crosswords and scratching her lottery tickets. But the thing she loved the most were her grandkids.
Yolanda is survived by her daughter Anna Salinas (Jose Lopez) of Caldwell, her son Angel Perez of Washington; her grandchildren Jennifer Guzman & Jaime Guzman of Washington, Angel Perez, Gabriel Perez, Jourdan Salinas, Damien Mireles, Nickolas Mireles, Christopher Mireles and Aaliyah Lopez all of Idaho, along with many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her baby brother Arturo Salinas of Idaho, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death her parents, several brothers and a sister, her daughter Norma Guzman and granddaughter Cassandra and the love of her life Juan Anzaldua.
Grandma you will always be our #1 for today you leave us but walk next to us always.
A viewing for friends and family will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Canyon Hill Cemetery at 11:00 am. Condolences and memories can be shared at www.flahifffuneralchapel.com
