Yvonne A. Kaufman Gunther, affectionately known as Vonnie, passed into the arms of our Lord Jesus on December 9, 2025, with her loving husband Harlan Gunther by her side.

Vonnie was born in Worthington, MN on April 26, 1938. She leaves behind a loving family, including her husband Harlan, daughters Shelly and Renee, grandchildren Dusti and Aric, and great-grandchildren Payton, Lillyanna, Skyler, and Nala. She was predeceased by her sons Randy and John, and her grandchild Sasha.

Vonnie's life was filled with many passions and interests. She enjoyed reading, singing in the choir, quilting, knitting, sewing, cruising, camping, and cooking. Her love and support extended to several mission churches, including Mt. Olive Lutheran in Watertown, SD, Mt. Olive Lutheran in Loveland, CO, and Redeemer in Ft. Collins, CO.

Vonnie's compassionate heart led her to care for 13 infants through Cradle Care within three years. She also volunteered in the NICU at McKee, offering comfort to newborns when their parents needed a rest.

We will be celebrating Vonnie's life at Viegut's in Loveland, CO on December 19, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. To those who knew her best, she was Vonnie – a loving wife, devoted mom, and cherished friend.

In her final act of generosity, Vonnie was an organ donor. Her tissue donation will aid burn victims and reconstructive surgeries after mastectomies.
