Carol Ruth Michaelis
Born July 8, 1942
Daughter of William Michaelis and Ruth Liebenow
Chicago, Illinois
Carol, also known as “Grammy” or “Doodle,” passed away peacefully in her home on December 9, 2025. She spent 83 years spreading love, joy, sarcasm, sass, and laughter to everyone around her.
In 1967, she gave birth to her only child, Eric. Over the years, she gained three grandchildren, Samantha, Amanda and Ayden, who she loved dearly. She also gained an amazing daughter-in-law, Leona, who she respected and loved.
