Albert James Limata Jr. September 27, 1945 – November 29, 2025. With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the peaceful passing of Albert James Limata Jr. on November 29, 2025, at his home in Carmel, California- a place he cherished. He had recently celebrated his 80th birthday surrounded by loved ones and was in good spirits—a reflection of the warmth, connection, and joy that defined his life. Albert was raised and attended school in New York City. As a young boy, he often said he wanted to be a businessman who carried a briefcase to work. That dream became a reality after he graduated from Pace University. He began his career in Manhattan before relocating to San Francisco, where he enthusiastically worked his way up the corporate ladder, spending over 30 years as a marketing executive. True to who he was, he approached his work—and life—with individuality, determination, and a strong sense of self. Outside of work, Albert was known for his love of classic cars, oldies music, classic films, and travel. He had a remarkable gift for storytelling, always infused with humor and heart. Above all else, Albert was a devoted husband and father who valued family deeply. He took great pride in his role as a provider, protector, and vibrant presence in the lives of those he loved. Albert is survived by his beloved wife, Carole Limata, his three adult children, two sons-in-law, and his four cherished grandchildren. Albert lived his life boldly and authentically and will be remembered for his loyalty, spirited nature, and the unmistakable mark he left on those around him. He had a way of making himself known—whether through humor, stories, or sheer presence. Guided by the traditional values taught by his parents and a deep appreciation for life’s joys, he leaves behind a legacy of memories that will be long cherished. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations in Albert’s memory be made to North Creek Academy and Preschool, Saint Joan of Arc Parish, or Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Family Alliance. A link has been provided below for each charity's website.
