Casey D. Stauff
A man who wore many hats (literally) and held so many important titles—from loving father, son, spouse, brother, grandpa (AKA “Dude”), uncle, godfather, and friend, to dedicated worker—Casey had a true passion for helping others and was known for loving big, with a heart of gold. He was the kind of man that, if you needed him, he was there.
Casey touched the hearts of so many with his kindness, compassion, and never-ending jokes. You could always count on him to bring a smile to your face, even in the worst of moments, because he always wanted the people, he cared about to be happy. No matter the good or the bad, at the end of the day, Casey was a man who wore his heart on his sleeve and had endless love for those in his life.
Casey’s jokes, big heart, and never-ending love will continue to live on through all who knew and loved him. In honor of Casey: be a light for others, help where you can, and most of all, “Git ’r done.”
Casey is survived by his daughter, Micayla (Kyle) Nelson, and his sole granddaughter, Annalynn Nelson; his forever other half, Christine Britton, with their son, Chase Britton, and stepdaughter, Evelyn Britton; his mother, Kathy Stauff; brothers Cory (Michelle) Stauff, nephew/godson Connor Stauff, nieces Kiyla and Cali Kopecky, and Clint Stauff, with niece Chloe Stauff; parent in-laws, David and Debra Britton; and godsons, Carson Petitt, and Carson Kilpin; and so many more beloved family members and friends.

We Entrusted Casey Stauff's Care To
Nitardy Funeral Homes - Whitewater
We have proudly served the Southern Wisconsin community since 1932, when our founder Hilmar A. Nitardy opened his first funeral home in the area. We feel very fortunate to continue serving the community three generations later. In 2007, we constructed our first funeral home in Whitewater. Here, our mission is the same as it has been for over 90 years: help walk our community through times of grief and provide beautiful and meaningful services to every family that walks through our doors. We are proud that Whitewater families trust us to take care of their loved ones....
