Barbara Rose, born August 3, 1946, passed away on December 22, 2025, at the age of 79. She resided in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Rose; her parents, Annie and Howard Boles; and her sisters, Brenda Lisk, Mary Yountz, and Silvia Satterfield.
Those left to cherish Barbara's memory are her beloved son and daughter-in-law, Benton and Nichole Rose, and grandsons, Cameron and Corben Rose. Also surviving are her brother, Bill Boles; adopted sons, James Wright and Zack Herrick; step-daughter, Jo Carol and children; close family friend, Willie Smith; additionally, numerous nieces and nephews, including Jason Lynch (Kristy), Jeff Lynch (Charlynne), and Darin Boles and wife, Anne Boles, with whom she shared a particularly close bond.
Barbara’s greatest joy was watching her grandsons grow and play baseball and soccer, and observing her son, daughter-in-law, and Corben in martial arts at Family Kicks Martial Arts.
A graveside service will be held at Westlawn Gardens of Memory at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, with Pastor Chris Hollbrook of For the City Church officiating.
