Jacqueline Rae “Jackie” Armstrong passed away Dec. 20, 2025 holding her daughters (Kim) hand. Alzheimer’s/dementia slowly and cruelly took her life the last 5 years. Born November 1, 1939 in Langdon, North Dakota to John “Jack” Armstrong and Ella (Domres) Armstrong. She was the 2nd of 5 kids. During high school she babysat for local families, sang in the glee club, played clarinet in the high school band and sang in the church choir.  She graduated from high school in 1957 and moved with her family to Loveland in 1958.

She was employed by Scientific Electronics and attended Greeley Commercial College.

In 1968 she was employed by HP “on the hill”. She spent most of her 30+ years in international shipping. Her favorite story was having to find a way to ship parts to a mountainous area with no means of delivery… her solution…hire an oxen team.  She loved HP and all they offered her especially in the early years (HP picnics, santa claus, etc). After retirement she worked at Group Publishing for about 5 years then finally retired for good.

In 1973 after a near fatal bout with blood clots, she became a born again Christian and was very involved with church. She became an Ordained Minister and loved to travel to many prisons to council inmates including a fellowship journey to Zimbabwe Africa, where she prayed with the poorest of the poor living in dirt floor huts and no running water or electricity. She held many people in her heart. She was a generous person who cared and fed many and never judged a soul. She endured many hard times in her life. She loved GOD and her family. She loved “Robin Egg” blue skies, the color yellow, Gramma’s homemade soup, holidays especially Christmas, making pictures out of clouds, Neil Diamond, dancing, morning glories and cheerios with lots of sugar. She always insisted on going on the dump runs when we took a load. Every morning she wrote in her journal that she was grateful for another GOD GIVEN DAY.

She had amazing strength and determination and a very kind, giving heart to a fault of doing without to help someone else.

She is survived by daughters Kim (Gale) Stiner and Kelly Sheridan Gallaher; 2 grandchildren David & Diana Sheridan, 9 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren, sisters Bev & Judy Armstrong. She was preceded in death by her mom & dad, sister Audrey Hicks and brother Bob Armstrong
