Earl Gordon Remington, aged 84, passed away peacefully on December 19th, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Earl’s life was a testament to devotion, kindness, and unwavering support. He was a loving husband, a proud father, an adoring grandfather, and an Air Force veteran whose generosity and compassion touched countless lives.

 

Born on November 17th, 1941, Earl grew up with strong family values that he carried with him throughout his lifetime. He was the husband of Linda Remington, his soulmate and partner of over 57 joyful years, and together they built a legacy of love and resilience.

 

Earl was a dedicated father to his three children—James, Kristine, and Gregg—guiding them with wisdom, encouragement, and an immovable belief in their potential. His greatest joy was helping his children and grandchildren achieve their dreams, always there with support and guidance. Earl took immense pride in fostering a loving and secure environment for his family, ensuring they felt cared for and cherished.

 

A veteran of the United States Air Force, Earl served his country with honor and dignity. His service exemplified his selflessness and commitment to protecting and serving others.

 

Earl’s enduring kindness and ability to make anyone feel special left a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to meet him. He lived his life as one of the last true family men, and his devotion to his loved ones was the cornerstone of his character.

 

He is survived by his beloved wife Linda; his children, James (Nancy) Remington of Wellington, Co, Kristine (Jeff) Harris of Loveland, CO, and Gregg (Sheila) Remington of Grand Saline, TX; and his grandchildren and great grandchildren, whom he adored and who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. Earl’s legacy of unwavering love and selflessness will remain etched in the hearts of his family and friends.

 

A service to celebrate Earl’s life will be held at Viegut Funeral Home 1616 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland CO 80538 on January 5th, 2026 at 11am.

 

Earl Gordon Remington will always be remembered for his incredible generosity, steadfast devotion, and the profound love he shared with his family and friends. He leaves behind a lifetime of beautiful memories and a family that will forever cherish the blessing of his presence. He will be deeply missed.
