Gary was born in Weirton, WV and moved to Brevard County, Fl at six months of age, where he lived the rest of his life. He was a true family man, and his family was his priority. He loved spending time with all of them, whether it was watching them play sports, attending dance recitals, family dinners, or just hanging out at the house. He received so much joy in teaching his children & grandchildren how to fish, work on cars, garden, and fix anything that was broken. In Gary’s words, “I can fix anything”, and honestly, he could. He would rather fix something than replace it. Helping others is what made him happy.

He enjoyed the simple things in life and had many hobbies including camping, boating, fishing, motorcycles, sports, cooking, nature, music, and so much more. Gary never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone. He had many, many friends. His smile, sense of humor and personality were infectious.

Gary is survived by his wife, Janet Newbrough, his children - Toni (Steve), Julie (Sam), Kyle (Allison), Katie (Tony), Seven Grandchildren - Walker, Eli, Juna, Jadyn, Ella, Skylar, and Hunter, his brother, Ronnie (Theresa), his sister-in-law, Terri, his sister Gaylynn (Bob), and many nieces and nephews.

Gary is preceded in death by his Grandson Damien, his siblings, Jerry, Johnny and Charmaine, and his parents, John & Marie Newbrough.

He was one of a kind, was loved deeply, and will be truly missed.
