Eloisa Ruiz González, 86, of Caldwell, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. She was born on March 12, 1939, in Sabinas, Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico, to Silverio Ruiz and Estefana Gonzalez.

She loved her children: Ramiro, Alberto, Carmen, Luz Maria, Socorro, Rosa Amezcua, Guadalupe, and Javier. Ramiro passed away on July 9, 2014. Eloisa is survived by her other children, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews – so many, she lost count!

She met her husband, Jesus Nicolas Ferrer, in Mexico as young adults, and together, they moved to the United States in 1988, where they later married.

Eloisa loved novelas, watching wrestling with her husband, welcoming him home after each work shift, and was known for her great food. Her cooking brought and kept everyone together.

She loved being a provider and letting everyone she knew that she was always prepared. She loved making everyone feel at home – with a smile or a meal, or just by always letting people know she was available when they needed her.

A viewing will take place on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 5-8:00 pm, with a rosary to begin at 7:00 pm, at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, 624 Cleveland Blvd. in Caldwell. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 10:30 am, with a graveside service to immediately follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Services are under the care of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. (208) 459-0833
