Pat (Patricia) Jacobs nee McGinn was born February 1st, 1938, Biloxi M.S., entering eternal life into Heaven on December 22, 2025 in Melbourne, FL. Throughout her long life, she was affectionately known by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as “Moo”.

Pat married George, the Love of her Life, in April 1957. For the next 20 years, the two of them lived in various parts of the country while George enjoyed a career as a Radar Technician with the United States Air Force. George and Pat added four children to their family, who joined them in adventures in Air Force living.

After retirement, the family settled in Melbourne, FL. Pat worked various part time jobs, but the role she was proudest of was that of wife & mother. After George retired from Harris Corp., Pat and he enjoyed adventures in their Motorhome, traveling around the country, often visiting family. Their life’s climactic trip in 2003 was with their close friends, Wayne and Judy, when they traveled from Florida to Alaska, crossing the continental Untied States and through the northern woods of Canada.

Pat enjoyed good meals-especially Southern Mississippi seafood. She enjoyed crafting, shopping, social events in clubs such as the Tailgators Motor Coach Club & Sanford Yacht Club. She enjoyed visiting family and friends especially those in Mississippi, North Carolina, & Arkansas. She never met a restaurant she didn’t want to try, except Italian-which was a real foible to her son-in-law!

Pat is predeceased by her adoring husband of Sixty-three years George; parents John & Velma McGinn, two brothers Maxie & Gary McGinn, one son George, and two grandsons Kyle & Justin. She is survived by sons Gerald (Debbie), Terry (Teresa), her daughter Tracy (Robert) Capogreca, sister Gloria Anglado, five grandchildren, a bunch of great grandchildren, a great-great grandson, as well as other extended family members.

She will be missed by all who loved her, and whom she loved. She most especially will be missed by her loving daughter Tracy, who was her caretaker, companion, and best friend for the last six years.

Cremation and arrangements are being handled by Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care of Melbourne. A graveside service is being arranged for January 27, 2026 at 1:00pm  at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Rockledge – Funded Depreciation.
