Catherine A. Voth (née Heagney), lovingly known as Cathy, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully in December 18, 2025 at Seven Lakes Memory Care, surrounded by love.

Born in December 1943 in Clinton, Massachusetts, Cathy lived a life marked by faith, family, and a deep sense of compassion. She was the devoted wife of Harry Voth, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership.

Cathy was a proud and loving mother to Angela Schappell (Bryan) and Blaine Voth (Laura Cozzens), and a cherished grandmother to Kyra Zuhlke, Brock Voth, Zane Zuhlke, and Lacey Phipps (Shawn), step-grandmother to Chaz Schappell and Hayden Schappell (Katelyn) as well as great-granddaughter Brynlee Phipps and step-great grandchildren Janie Schappell, Talmage Schappell and Meredith Schappell and Harmony Rebyl. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

At the age of 10, Cathy moved to Huntington Park, California, and later to Downey, where the family lived in a home near Rancho Las Amigos Hospital. She attended Villa Cabrini Academy in Burbank, where she formed lifelong friendships and cherished memories.

It was at Rancho Hospital that Cathy met the love of her life, Harry Voth. They married in 1963 and were blessed with two children, Angela and Blaine. In 1981, the family relocated to Loveland, Colorado, where Cathy lived for the remainder of her life, surrounded by the beauty of the mountains and the warmth of her community. She was a long-time member of Faith Evangelical Church where she met and maintained friendships with those who grew to be lifelong friends.

During her time in California, Cathy had the rare and unforgettable opportunity to observe brain surgery firsthand while working for Dr. David Spindle, a neurosurgeon, an experience that deepened her admiration for the medical profession. Later, after moving to Colorado, she played a pivotal role in launching a neurology practice for Joe Jabaily, a neurologist, demonstrating her dedication, initiative, and passion for supporting patient care.

A woman of strong faith, Cathy was actively involved in her church and the Women of the Word ministry. She found joy in connecting with others and creating lasting memories with those she loved. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit touched the lives of many. She had a deep love for travel, and among her favorite trips were unforgettable journeys to Ireland and Russia, where she embraced the culture, history, and beauty of each place.

She was a consummate hostess, always making everyone feel welcome and cared for. She had a deep love for music and singing, which brought joy to her life and to those around her. She also cherished flowers, especially roses and tulips, which reflected her appreciation for beauty and grace. Her warmth, creativity, and passion created countless cherished memories for family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 31, 2026, at 11 AM at Faith Evangelical Church in Loveland, CO.

Flowers are welcome and appreciated and can be sent to Faith Evangelical Church at 2707 N Wilson Ave., Loveland, CO 80538 for the service.

Cathy will be remembered for her gentle heart, her love of family, and her enduring faith. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and grace that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
