Yvonne Veronica Aguirre, 33 years old, passed away peacefully on January 1st 2026, following a brave and unwavering battle with pancreatic cancer. Despite her illness, she remained positive and brought so much light and laughter to those she loved. She was a fighter. 

Yvonne loved music and sharing songs with those she loved. When she talked about her day, she made sure to give every detail, and to understand why she chose something, you had to see the whole picture. If you were her friend, you knew she never stopped checking in, and you knew how deeply she loved you. We will miss her infectious smile, her warm hazel eyes, her unforgettable hugs, and her caring, shining spirit.

Yvonne is survived by her parents, Margarito Aguirre Solis and Adelaida Hernandez de Aguirre; her siblings, Luciana Aguirre, Margarito Aguirre, Ricardo Aguirre, Marisol Aguirre, Vanessa Aguirre; and her fiancé, Mark Johnston, all of whom will forever hold her sweet memory in their hearts. 

Yvonne was more than just a daughter, sister, Tia, or fiancé, she was our rock. She grounded us and reminded us of our strengths. Although life could be harsh at times, she fearlessly believed a rainbow was waiting for us. Fitting it would be, that her favorite song was, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”

When you think of Yvonne, remember her smile and her whimsical sense of humor. We will forever miss you. Descansa en paz.
