In Loving Memory of Ryan James Baltazar
June 17, 2004 – December 31, 2025
Ryan James Baltazar, 21, of Greeley, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, as the result of an automobile accident.
Ryan was born on June 17, 2004, in Greeley, Colorado, to Kristi (McCune) and Shannon Baltazar. He attended Frontier Academy from elementary through middle school and then attended Greeley West High School.
From an early age, Ryan had a passion for sports and competition. He played baseball, basketball, and football, and spent many summers on the swim team. Whatever he was doing, he gave his all—and usually found a way to make everyone around him laugh along the way.
Outside of sports, Ryan loved music, being with his friends and family, and riding anything with wheels—especially if it had a motor. Whether it was a dirt bike, a motorcycle, or one of his many cars, Ryan was happiest on the move and always chasing the next adventure.
Of all the things Ryan loved in life, nothing compared to the joy he found in being a dad. His son, Zander, was his pride and joy. Ryan’s face would light up whenever he talked about him, and his happiest moments were the ones spent with Zander.
Ryan is survived by his son, Zander Baltazar; his mother and stepfather, Kristi (Tony) McCune of Greeley, CO; his father and stepmother, Shannon (Kim) Baltazar of Milliken, CO; his sister and brother-in-law, Courtney (Cameron) Brackett of Greeley, CO; his grandparents, Jim (Nancy) Eberle of Fort Morgan, CO, and Nick Baltazar of Greeley, CO; his step-siblings, Jordan (Bryce) Gordon of Brighton, CO, Beau Lewis of Fort Lupton CO, Brooke Lewis of Johnstown, CO, Brendan McCune, and Kinsey McCune, both of Greeley, CO; his aunts and uncles, Rob (Tara) Roos of Pella, IA, Brian (Christina) Eberle of Las Vegas, NV, and Jason Baltazar of Windsor, CO; and his cousins Amanda (Jason) Meyer of Pella, IA, Amber (Siana) Bock of Stanley, ND, Tylan Montgomery of Loveland, CO, and Chase Eberle of Las Vegas, NV.
Ryan was preceded in death by both of his grandmothers, Linda Eberle and Sandi Baltazar.
A celebration of Ryan’s life will be held at Greeley First Assembly of God on January 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. A lunch hosted by the family will follow at the church.
Ryan lived his life full throttle—making others laugh and lighting up every room he entered. He will be remembered forever for his humor, his energy, and his unforgettable spirit.
“Ride fast, make ‘em laugh, and never be too serious.” That’s how Ryan lived, and that’s how we’ll remember him.
