It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Diane M. Santos, 55, born on May 1, 1970, in Springfield, MA. Diane departed this world on January 4, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Predeceased by her parents, Michael and Priscilla (Patrie) Santos, and her beloved sister, Michele "Shelly" Santos, Diane is survived by her three loving daughters: Kiara Santos, Amelia Brooks, and Giada Brooks. She also leaves her brother, Mark Santos, and her dear niece, Kari Santos, all of whom will carry her spirit forward in their hearts.

Diane was a passionate learner, having earned a master's degree in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern University and had a fulfilling career as a payroll specialist. Her keen curiosity about the world extended well beyond her formal education; she had a profound love for studying history. This passion not only illuminated her conversations but also manifested in one of her most cherished hobbies, antiquing and enjoying the stories that each piece told.

Diane took great pride in her home, nurturing her yard and creating a welcoming space for family and friends. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly spending time outdoors. Favorites included visiting the beach to watch the waves roll in, an enchanting pastime that brought her peace and tranquility.

Services for Diane will be held privately; however, her family encourages those wishing to celebrate her beautiful life to engage in activities she adored—perhaps a visit to the beach, a day spent antiquing, or planting hydrangeas in her memory.

Diane M. Santos will be deeply missed, but her spirit and the love she fostered in her family will endure. She taught us to cherish our surroundings and embrace the beauty in life’s simple moments.
