Linda Lou Felix, a devoted mother, cherished grandmother and woman of boundless warmth and strength, was born in Tustin, California. After a life well-lived and well-loved, she passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025, in Goleta, California, at the age of 81, surrounded by the family she adored. Linda’s life was a tapestry of kindness, curiosity, storytelling, resilience and laughter. Growing up in Tustin, her spirited love of the outdoors shaped her joyful childhood filled with countless happy hours horseback riding, playing sports, and excelling on the tennis court. A bright and determined student, she went to attend Pacific Lutheran University in Washington, carrying her passion for learning and curiosity into every chapter of her life. In the majestic beauty of Sequoia National Park, Linda met Silverio Felix, the love of her life. The couple married on December 19, 1967, and built a loving home in Atascadero, California, where the couple welcomed and raised three beloved children: Troy, Mark and Jennifer. When Silverio passed away in 1988, Linda met heartbreak with extraordinary courage and grace, pouring even more of her endless love into raising her children alone while guiding them with unwavering devotion. Linda lived with a contagious zest for life. She found pure joy in the pages of a good book, lively conversations with those she loved, and the simple beauty of the outdoors-hiking scenic trails, casting a line while fishing, or taking long drives through California’s breathtaking landscapes. Linda also had a unique passion for chasing storm, often traveling far just to witness their power firsthand. Above all, Linda’s greatest happiness came from time spent with her family, whose lives she touched with her gentle spirit, infectious laughter, and profound love. Linda is survived by her three children, Troy, Mark and Jennifer; five cherished grandchildren Caleb, Grady, Savannah, Carson and Austin; her brother John Gramentine; and her cousin, William Nisson. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her love and light will live on in the hearts of her family forever. Family, friends, and others whose lives Linda touched are invited to the funeral services which will be held on January 16, 2026 in Santa Barbara, with a viewing at 9:30 AM and services at 10 AM, followed by a burial service at 1:30 PM at Atascadero Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Silverio, and her mother, Marian.
