Gabriel Anthony Velasquez, age 47, passed away on December 31, 2025, in Thornton,Colorado, where he was a lifelong resident.Gabriel was a devoted father, son, grandfather, brother, and loving uncle who came from alarge, close-knit family. He is survived by his children: Bernice Ramirez-Velasquez, LeslieVelasquez, Jaydean Velasquez, Anthony Velasquez, Jaylena Yslas, Jeremiah Velasquez,and Gabriela Velasquez. He is also survived by his mother, Olivia Moreno, and his father,Jose Velazquez.Gabriel was a proud grandfather to Aulani, Amancio, Anthony, and Azulia, who brought himimmense joy. He is survived by his brother, Isaac Velasquez, and his sisters, Olivia Velasquez,Crystal Velasquez, Litzahaya Barrerra, and Xiomara Velasquez, along with many nieces,nephews, extended family members, and loved ones.Gabe worked as a maintenance worker and was known for his strong work ethic. He lovedbeing outdoors, especially when spending time with his family. Known for his funny personalityand big heart, he deeply valued family above all else. His laughter, strength, and love will bedeeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
