William F. Savage, Jr. born December 8, 1939, passed peacefully on January 12, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Helen Savage, his daughters Myra, Paula and Debbie. His sister Gail and half-sister Donna Sue. He is also survived by his cherished niece Donna who was like a daughter to him. He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren and devoted great grandfather to seven great grandchildren.
William dedicated 37 years of service to the Newport Housing Authority where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his community.
Above all William was a family man. He will be lovingly remembered by many names, Bill, Sav, Dad and Papa each reflecting the deep love and connection he shared with those closest to him.
He will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
