Lizette Maria (Cantu) Reid, of Sahuarita, Arizona, passed away on December 11, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, dedication, and quiet joy that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.   Lizette devoted her professional life to helping others as an occupational therapist, a role that perfectly reflected her gentle spirit and her belief in the dignity and potential of every person. Her patients and colleagues remember her as someone who brought patience, skill, and genuine kindness to her work each day.   She shared a loving marriage with her husband, Robert Reid, with whom she built a life filled with laughter, companionship, and simple pleasures. Together, they embraced the beauty of the outdoors, especially during long walks with their three beloved dogs — moments that brought Lizette peace and happiness.   She was a beloved sister and aunt to more than twenty nieces and nephews, each of whom felt her warmth, humor, and unwavering support. Lizette also embraced her role as a stepmother and grandmother, offering love, guidance, and steadiness in the way only she could.     Creativity was woven into Lizette’s daily life. She found joy in sewing; crafting pieces that carried her warmth and care. She also had a wonderful sense of humor and delighted in sharing funny videos with her family, sparking smiles and connection even across distances.   Lizette’s presence was a gift — steady, thoughtful, and full of heart. She leaves behind cherished memories that will continue to comfort and inspire those who loved her most.   May her spirit rest in peace, and may her loved ones find solace in the love she gave so freely.
