Sandra was born Nov 8, 1944, in Fort Riley, Ks, to James Young and Frances (Sowell) Young both of whom preceded her in death. Sandra was the oldest of four children, brother Frank Young and two sisters Marjorie (Young) Reid and Frances (Young) Jefferson, all of them also preceded her in death. 

 

She was raised with love and family roots in Salina, Ks, attended Salina, Kansas public schools. She was a long time active member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the youth choir and was active in the youth department. Sandra (Mom) was known for her Kindness, Strength and Love for her family. She touched many lives and leaves behind cherished memories that will live on forever. 

 

Sandra was married to Randy K. Reno for 41 years, during which he was a devoted, loving and compassionate husband. She leaves to cherish her memory, Children and Step Children:

Adria Maldonado (Enrico) of Vallejo, CA

Randy A. Reno (Amber) of Fort Collins, CO 

 

She has 28 Grandchildren and 28 Great Grandchildren.

 

Sandra (Mom) touched many lives with her gentle spirit. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure and she will be forever missed. 

 

Arrangements were private in accordance with her request and no formal services will be held. 

 

She is survived by her loving family and friends, who will continue to honor her life and legacy.

 

Her memories will live on in the hearts of family and friends. 

 

The family extends heartfelt thanks to everyone for their love and support.
