Kenneth Ralph MortonSeptember 5, 1941 – January 8, 2026 Kenneth Ralph Morton, 84 of Tucson, Arizona passed away and went to our Lord’s arms on January 8, 2026.The son of Delmar Ralph and Rita Leona (Decker) Morton, Kenneth was born on September 5, 1941, in Napa, Ca. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Shirley Morton; his son, Kirk and wife, Amy of Newbury, Ohio; his daughter, Michele and her husband, Dudley of Tucson, Arizona; 4grandchildren, Jorden Spooner and Bianca Ziessel (Jared) of Tucson, Arizona, Elsa Kitko (Sal)and Ursula of Newbury, Ohio; 2 brothers, Robert Dempsey and wife, Dwanna of Carson City, Nevada; Steve Morton and wife, Marian; many other family members and friends.His parents preceded Kenneth in death.Kenneth attended Napa High School and graduated in 1959. Following his high school graduation, he joined the United States Air Force and was discharged in 1967. He joined the CHP in 1967, working in San Francisco, Oakland, and Solano before transferring to Napa, worked road patrol and in the CHP air operations at the Napa County Airport until his retirement in 1996. Kenneth served on the board of directors of the California Association of the Highway Patrolmen for six years. He was the founder and president of the Napa Solano Region of the International Police Association and past president of the Napa County Peace Officers Association.There will be a celebration of life at his residence in Vail, AZ, February 15, 2026, at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the CAHP Widows and Orphans Trust Fund -www. The CAHP.org
