In loving Memory Linda Eugenia McPherson (née Posey) Sister, Wife, Mother, Grammy, Great Grammy, and Friend Linda passed away peacefully on November 30th, 2025 with her children by her side. Born October 5th, 1943 in Brunswick, Georgia Linda and her family later moved to Maryland. From early on, Linda had a dream of becoming a Cosmetologist and enjoyed a long and successful career until retiring from Great Waves hair salon in Tucson, AZ. Linda loved music, dancing, and animals—especially dogs—but most importantly, she loved God, her faith, her family, church family, and friends. Linda’s passion was serving the Lord as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she enjoyed serving in different capacities throughout the years, one of her favorites being teaching the primary students. Linda was preceded in death by her parents James Doyle and Ila Mae Posey (née Nipper). Her older brother Terri (Marlene) Posey and her loving husband Frank McPherson of 34 years. She is survived by her younger brother Emil (Maria) Posey, niece Emili (Justin) and great niece, Serenity Hinton. Daughter Terri Lynn (Jeff) Castle-Jorbin of Thornton, CO, her son Donnie (Lori) Ourand of Tucson, AZ. Kimberly Ourand. Her grandchildren Michael Don (Tiffany) Castle, Amanda Mae (Sean) Woton, and Leah Castle. Malik Ourand and Mason Ourand. Great grandchildren Octavia Woton, Eoin Castle, Sean Woton Jr., and Maeve Castle. Linda’s greatest legacy is reflected in the values she instilled in the loving, caring, and strong family that she raised and the way that she lived her faith-driven life. Linda’s family wishes to thank her friends and neighbors for their love and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA. Funeral service to be held Friday, January 9th, 2026 at 10:30am at All Faiths Cemetery and Memorial Park located at 2151 S. Avenida Los Reyes, Tucson, AZ 85748.
