Sherry Kosa Sudder passed away on December 25, 2025, at the age of 77, at home.
The youngest of seven children to Hungarian immigrant parents, Sherry was born and raised in South River, NJ. She took dance lessons at Miss Arlene’s. Her childhood friends described her as sweet and kind, who was in love with the high school quarterback and ultimately her husband. She performed as a majorette and fittingly a fire baton twirler with the high school band.
Sherry worked as a real estate agent and a part-time teacher. Additionally, Sherry enjoyed many artsy crafts and was infamously known within the family as “Sheri Noelle” - her labor of love decorated mini Christmas trees.
Sherry lived with her husband, Richard (deceased 2006), in Palm Beach Gardens for 39 years, where she raised her two sons Keith and Rich. She was an avid connoisseur of coffee to fuel her daily transport of her sons to a variety of sporting practices, including swim practice at North Palm Beach Country Club.
Beginning with her marriage to an Air Force pilot, she was a proud supporter of military service that continued with her sons’ service in the Air Force and Army. She loved everything Red, White, and Blue, an American believer, who lived for the 4th of July. She was also a life-long, unabashed Florida State University fan, where her husband and sons graduated.
She was predeceased by her husband Richard Sudder; parents, Albert and Margaret Kosa; sisters - Margaret Kosa Hydrusko, Beattie Kosa Zukofski, Katherine Kosa Borowinski, Brenda Kosa Weber, and brothers - Kenneth Kosa and Arpad “baby Albert.”
She is survived by: her sons - Rich and his wife Deb; Keith and his wife Kimberly, grandson Kaden, grand daughter Kenzie; five grand dogs; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Sherry will be interned in Arlington National Cemetery with her husband Rich. The family will provide information on date of intern, when finalized.
The family asks in lieu of flowers to donate to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, Juno Beach, FL. You may use this link, https://marinelife.org/give/ to donate in Memory of Sherry (select the option “Dedicate this Donation” to give in memory).
