Armin Mohammed, lovingly known as “Tantay,” passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, at AdventHealth Lake Wales in Lake Wales, Florida, surrounded by his devoted family. He was 71 years old.

Born on April 12, 1954, in D’Abadie, Trinidad, Armin carried with him a deep love for family, culture, and community throughout his life.

A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, Armin was known for his warm heart, quick wit, and joyful spirit. In his younger years, he was an avid cricketer and enjoyed lively games of cards. He had a passion for good food and travel and will always be remembered for his sense of humor and jovial personality.

Armin was preceded in death by his father, Mohammed Abdul (1974); his mother, Jano Mohammed (1997); twelve of his siblings; and his beloved daughter, Rashelle. As he reunites with those who have gone before him, his legacy of never-ending love will forever be embedded in the hearts of all who knew him.

He is survived by his cherished wife, Indrani; his son, Ronnel, and daughter-in-law, Alejandra; his daughters, Keri and her husband Tyler, and Arielle; his adored grandchildren, Kristyn, Colin, Kihara, and Santi; his brothers, Haniff, Nazim, and Ameer; and his sister, Narissa, along with many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss him.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care located at 2425 W Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven, Florida. A reception will follow the service.
