It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Maria Del Carmen Torres Solís in her home on 02/18/26 at the age of 45. Carmen was born on November 5, 1980, in Santa Barbara, CA, to Gregorio Torres Sr and Carmen Torres Fragoso and was a source of kindness and compassion throughout her life.
She will forever be remembered by her mother, Carmen, husband, Fernando Solís, sons Miguel Torres Cedillo and Gregorio (Goyito) Torres Solís, brothers Gregory Torres, Pep Torres, Jesus Torres, Gilberto Torres, sister Maria Elena Torres-Juarez and many nephews and nieces, grand nephews and nieces, and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Gregorio, and brother Jorge Torres. She will also be dearly missed by her friends and colleagues at Beacon West.
Carmen was known for her joyful smile and laugh with a playful sense of humor. She was a charming individual with everyone who surrounded her as she knew how to captivate the room. She was the heart and soul of her family, friends, and job, and her absence shall be profoundly felt. "En México, la muerte nunca nos separa."
Rosario for Carmen will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church at 227 Nopal Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93103 on 03/12/26 at 6:30p and funeral services the next morning on 03/13/26 at 10:00a. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetary at 199 N Hope Avenue, Santa Barbara, CA 93110.
