Jonathan James Sandoval
April 23rd, 1982 - July 4th, 2023
Jonathan (James) Sandoval was born on April 23, 1982, in Denver, Colorado to Sherrie Sandoval. He grew up in Lakewood, CO and lived in Denver throughout his adult life. He was a loving father to his 2 daughters; Nevaeh and Gabby, stepson; Damian, and fur baby; Milo (The Pug). Jon attended University of Colorado Denver where he studied Healthcare Administration and achieved his bachelor’s degree. Jonathan started working at the Hospice of Saint John as a teenager and continued there for 8 years, eventually advancing to IT specialist. He left to work for Halcyon Hospice and Palliative Care where he operated for the next 11 years as Business Information Officer. Jon brought an intelligent familiarity to his work that endeared his co-workers and external business associates. His patient, smart and willing style was essential to the dramatic successes of the organizations he worked for. Jon’s passions included his family, friends and photography, the fine art of cooking, and traveling. He also shared a great interest in cars as well as his bikes. He was a good listener and could actively engage with the many stories he was a part of. He could readily apply his intelligence and spark new ways of problem-solving. Jonathan will be remembered for his deep passion for life, love of sports such as our Denver Broncos, and his even deeper love and dedication to family and the important people in his life. He was a giving soul and shared what he had to offer with friends, family and those in need. Jon had a great sense of humor and loved having fun while balancing the life of a hard, dedicated, worker.
