Leon Aldrich
June 2nd, 1942 - October 5th, 2019
Obituary Leon Aldrich, 77, of Nampa, ID passed away October 5th, 2019 at Meadowview Assisted Living in Nampa, ID. Leon was born in Nampa and raised on a farm with three sisters, Donna, Charlotte, Virginia and his little brother, Pete. Leon was a dairy delivery man, when he met the love of his life, Kathe Jensen, whom he fell madly in love with, married and had 2 children, Rick and Debbie. After the delivery job, he bought and ran his own Shell station on Capitol Blvd., which he acquired many awards for. After selling the Shell station, he and Kathe ran an auto parts business called Payless Auto Parts for many years on Main in Meridian, ID. The building still stands empty and vacant, today. The businessman that he was, he decided to buy a dairy outside of Meridian, which he and his wife Kathe, their two children, Rick and Debbie ran for eighteen years. Due to financial reasons, they had to sell out and bought a small home in Nampa. Kathe became ill and passed away in 2010, after 48 wonderful years of marriage. Leon wasn't the same after, he had 5 strokes in a year and had to go into assisted living in Nampa. His family watched him get worse and worse over the years. He finally went to be with his true love on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 6:15 P.M. Rest in peace Leon Aldrich. You were a fabulous father, husband, brother and true friend. He will be deeply missed by many family and friends.

Accent Funeral Home
A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
