June 28th, 2019
Yolanda Capaldo, 88, of Fruitland, passed away Friday at Grace Memory Care surrounded by family. She was born February 09, 1931 in McKeesport, PA, the daughter of Nicola & Margaret Porreco. After Mario passed away in 2003 she moved to Fruitland where she lived for several years before moving into Grace Memory Care in Meridian, ID. She spent most of her time in the kitchen, cooking family meals and passing on the love of Italian food. She always had a kind smile and never had the need to raise her voice because she was loved, adored, and respected by all who knew her. Yolanda is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Remo and Lorie Capaldo, Boise; daughter, Linda Palmer, Portland; daughter, and son-in-law, Rita and Alton Shotwell, Payette; son, and daughter-in-law, Leo and Cheryl Capaldo, Ontario.
