Lloyd K. Daniel, born 12/31/1931 ? 10/5/2012. Beloved husband, father and grandfather. He was a native Californian, born in Fresno. Lloyd served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He received his MBA from San Jose State, and began his illustrious career in Mortgage Banking. He and his wife, Bonnie, of 26 years, pioneered the Reverse Mortgage Industry, closing the first reverse mortgage in California. Lloyd dedicated 50 years to the mortgage industry, and taught real estate finance at local colleges from Sacramento to Monterey. Lloyd and Bonnie returned to the Monterey Peninsula in 2005. Lloyd was an avid duck hunter, and also loved fishing, tennis, flying and most of all, family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie Daniel; son Lloyd ?Dan? Daniel and wife Cindy; daughter Lisa Tegtmeier and husband Kent; son Chris Daniel and wife Kate; daughter Diane Malik and husband Andrew; Len Fishman and wife Corrine; Romy Kitnick and husband David, and eleven wonderful grandchildren: Aaron, Joshua, Jason, Patrick, Kyle, Ben, Drew, Emma, Abby, Kyla and Megan. Lloyd passed away at home, surrounded by loving family and extended family, Vickie and Ellen, after a 7-year struggle with Alzheimer?s. Please join us for a Celebration of his life on: Friday, October 12 at 1:00 pm. Markham Ranch Club House, 13900 Castlerock Road (Corral De Tierra). In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the local Alzheimer?s Association in memory of Lloyd.
