Manuel Pereira, 81, passed away peacefully on May 3rd, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 19th, 1942 to Elena and Manuel Pereira in Barranquilla, Colombia.
Manny lived a life marked by kindness, integrity and devotion to his family and community. He was a beloved husband to Carolyn Pereira for 60 years and a cherished father to two sons, Michael and Marc. His family meant everything to him and he was a source of unwavering love and support.
Throughout his life, Manny was known for his generosity coaching youth soccer for over 30 years. He had a passion for soccer and his enthusiam was contagious to all who knew him. Whether he was coaching or simply spending time with Carolyn in his garden, he always approached life with a joyful spirit and generous heart.
Profesionally, Manny enjoyed a succesful career creating his own soccer club, Rocky Mountain Soccer Academy and running his sports store, Premier Sports. He was admired by his colleagues for his personality, motivation and the ability to go above and beyond. His dedication to his work and his commitment to excellence served as an inspiration to many.
His selflessness and willingness to help others left a lasting impact on those around him.
Manny will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion and service that will continue to inspire future generations.
