Obituary for: Blanche Lucille Sapp Blanche Lucille Sapp, age 86, of Lake Placid, passed away June 26, 2010 in Lake Placid. She was born June 1, 1924 in LaBelle, the daughter of the late George Raleigh and Sarah Wall (Altman) Dyess. She was a lifelong resident of Hendry, Glades and Highlands Counties. Her family is a Pioneer Family of Hendry County. Blanche was a lifelong member of the Church of God. Survivors include four sons: Glenn (Wanda) Sapp of Lake Placid, Harvey (Elizabeth) Sapp of Palmdale, Raleigh (Angie) Sapp of Doctors Inlet and Gator (Evelyn) Sapp of Palmdale, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Eddie Sapp, Grandson, Joe Sapp Funeral services will be held Wed. June 30, 2010, 10:00 am at Ortona Cemetery Pavilion, 12870 W. SR 78, Moore Haven with Pastor W.T. Maddox Jr. officiating. Interment followed in Ortona Cemetery, Ortona. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Akin-Davis Funeral Home, LaBelle, FL.
