Versailles—Trinnie Courtney, 86, widow of Everett H. Courtney, passed away, Thursday, November 19, 2020. She was born June 29, 1934 to the late Oliver Winkfield and Della May Farthing Cosby in Versailles, KY. Trinnie retired from Kentucky Transportation Department. Trinnie is survived by her daughter Rhonda (Pete) Padova, Lexington; a son Brent (Yunie) Courtney, Versailles; a daughter-in-law, Mandy Courtney, Lawrenceburg: sisters, Mary Cosby, Versailles and Florence Ethington, Lebanon; grandchildren, Everett Perkins, Janet Doss, Shonda Sinkhorn, Joseph Perkins, Shelly Franklin, Brandon (Hannah) Courtney, Harrison (Amanda) Courtney, Wyatt (Charity) Courtney, Ashley Courtney, Abigail Courtney, Isaac Courtney and Jonathan Courtney; and numerous great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Everett, and her parents, Oliver and Della Cosby, Trinnie was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Perkins, a son, Everett “Phil” Courtney and several brothers and sisters. A Private Service will be held at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill.
