James “Jimmy” Samuel Dunn, 54, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021. A native of Versailles, he was born in August 7, 1966 to the late Sammy and Tressie Lou Workman Hatton. Jimmy was a fork lift driver and liked to scrap. He lived life on his own terms, but loved people. If you were his friend, you were his friend for life. He is survived by his daughters, Kelly (Londo) Gonzalez, Lexington, April Houp, Lexington, and Haley Dunn; sisters, Anna Bell Long and Lucy Merrell, both of Versailles; and his brother, Lacy Dunn, Versailles; and 6 grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Samantha Dunn; sisters, Norma Dunn, Brenda Dunn Rose and Kathleen Downs; brother, Mark Dunn and 1 grandchild. A graveside service will be Friday, February 26, 2021 at 2:00PM at Midway Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be his nephews. Honorary casketbearers will be Chris Rogers, Todd Richardson, Galen Young and Graham Young, and numerous friends. All friends and family are welcome to attend to the graveside service.
