Donna Lynn Hendrix, 69, wife of Jesse Hendrix, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021. She was born in Owsley County, Kentucky to the late Ruford and Hattie Bowman Thomas on November 19, 1951. Mrs. Hendrix retired after 28 years from the Woodford County Public Schools Cafeteria. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, going to yard sales and flea markets, and creating “do it yourself” projects in the back yard. In addition to her husband of 53 years, she is survived by daughter, Donna (Joesy) Adams, Midway; her son, Jesse (Olivia) Hendrix, Midway; her grandchildren, Justin (Amelia) Hendrix, Destiny (Maddie) Hendrix and Emiley Adams; and her great grandchildren, Mackenzley, Kaylee, Kylee, River, Violet and Willow. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Norma Brewer, Nell Marshall and Myrtle McIntosh; and her brothers, James, Harold, Coy, Gerald, and Darrell Thomas. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, March 29, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Midway Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be Joesy Adams, Maddie Williams, Danny Marcum, Justin Hendrix, Destiny Hendrix and Emiley Adams. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service.
