Norma Jean Littrell Cornish, 83, wife of Donald R. Cornish, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021. A native of Woodford County, she was born on September 2, 1938 to the late Robert E. and Edith Million Littrell. Ms. Cornish worked for Hollands Contract Carpet and was a former member of South Elkhorn Baptist Church. She was a very talented organist and pianist for over 50 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Judy Cornish (Randall) Dowell, Lexington; step grandsons, John and Barry Dowell; and step great granddaughter, Sophia Grace Dowell. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, December 20, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill with Dr. Mike James officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Crest Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be Joe Routt, Randall Dowell, Don Wells, Allan Springfield, John Dowell and John Giles. Honorary Casketbearers will be Barry Dowell, Keith Littrell and Owen Roberts. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial Contribuitons may be made to a charity of your choice.
