James Bernard Adams, 85, widow of Treva Handshoe Adams, passed away on September 28, 2023 in Crestview Hills. He was born in Blackey, Kentucky on August 11, 1938 to the late George and Carmie Caudill Adams. James was a veteran of the United States Army. Survivors include his daughter, Kelly (James Todd) Claggett, sons, Kevin (Michelle) Adams, sisters, Mary Jewel Adams and Lou Doris Fields, and grandchildren, Hannah Grace Adams and Abigail Elizabeth Claggett. Memorial services will be Friday October 6, 2023, 12:00 PM, at Clark Funeral Home, Versailles. Inurnment with military honors will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Alice Lloyd College.
