James "Greg" Stephens

Greg Stephens was a man who deeply cherished his family, his faith, and the opportunity to serve others. His love was steadfast, generous, and unconditional, and those fortunate enough to know him will forever carry the warmth of his presence in their hearts.

Greg is survived by his beloved wife, Suzie Stephens, who was his partner, best friend, and the love of his life. He also leaves behind his devoted father, Fred Stephens; his sister, Laurie Stephens; his brother, Edward Stephens (Stephanie); his sons, Lee Jones (Amanda) and Mitchell Jones (Jeanette); grandchildren, Stephanie and Aiden; his nephew, Michael Stephens; and his nieces, Emily Stephens, Laura Lanning, and Jennifer Lanning.

One of Greg's greatest joys in life was being a grandfather. He was a proud and loving "Granddaddy" to Stephanie and Aiden, who held a very special place in his heart. He treasured every moment spent with them, and the memories they created together will remain a source of comfort and joy for years to come. His love, laughter, wisdom, and unwavering devotion will continue to live on through them.

Greg was a man of strong faith who loved his Lord and Savior. Some of his most treasured moments were spent on the "Mountain Top," where he felt closest to God and found peace, strength, and renewed purpose. His faith guided his life and inspired the kindness, compassion, and generosity he showed to others.

He also had a deep passion for The Table Food Truck and its mission of serving those in need. Greg dreamed of returning to this ministry to help feed people who might otherwise go without a meal. His heart for service reflected his belief that caring for others was one of life's greatest callings.

Greg attended Ohio State University and built a distinguished career in business leadership. Throughout his professional life, he held management positions with Radio Shack and several national restaurant chains. At the time of his passing, he served as Vice President of Operations for One Clover, where he was respected for his leadership, dedication, and commitment to improving the lives of residents and team members alike.

Greg will be remembered not only for the life he lived, but for the love he shared so freely. He was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, a faithful son and brother, a respected leader, and a loyal friend. His kindness touched countless lives, and his impact will continue to be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his cherished bonus mom Marie Stephens.

Though his passing leaves a void that words cannot adequately express, his legacy of faith, love, service, and compassion remains. Greg may no longer walk beside us, but the love he gave will never leave us. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.

Family will receive friends from 3:00PM-4:00PM on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at The Crossing Church - North Campus. Services will begin at 4PM. A meal will be provided in the fellowship hall directly after the service.
