Timothy Daniel Bergquist
August 31st, 1978 - November 20th, 2020
Obituary Timothy Daniel Bergquist was born August 31, 1978 and passed away in his sleep on November 20, 2020 at his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Tim was a proud Eagle Scout and Vigil Member of the Order of the Arrow, an avid outdoorsman and fly fisherman, a lover of mountains, meteor showers, and a proponent of Native American culture and preservation. He was a programming savant. Tim loved the bands Pearl Jam and The Smashing Pumpkins. He often argued that The Breakfast Club was one of the greatest movie ever made and had a deep and abiding love of Ken Burns documentaries. Tim was a musician. He especially was fond of bluegrass and sacred harp music. While all of these were things that Tim treasured, most of all Tim was deeply loved, admired and respected by his family, friends, and peers. Tim is survived by his Nana, Carolyn Bergquist, his Mor Mor, Margaretha Johnsson-Mabe; father Michael Bergquist; brothers, Chris Bergquist, Andrew Bergquist, Matthew Bergquist, and William Bergquist; sisters Shannon Poe, Michaele Crandell, Katharine Morales, Debra Bergquist, and Grace Bergquist; and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews. Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Desiree Elisabeth Bergquist, and grandfather, Stanley Bergquist. A memorial service will be scheduled at later date both in Colorado and Georgia.
