Lawrence "Larry" Robert Reader passed away peacefully at his home in Mesa, AZ on Tuesday, December 26, 2017. He had just celebrated his 90th birthday last month. Larry was a devoted husband of 39 years to his late wife Sarah "Sally" Ann O'Donnal Reader. He was a wonderful and hardworking father to 7 children and a Navy veteran. He served faithfully in Church callings all of his life and loved teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to his family. He will be greatly missed but we know that we will be with him again as an eternal family. Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Sally and their youngest son, Kevin. He is survived by 6 of his children Rob, Brett, Scott, Kari, Lance, and Derek Reader as well as 14 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday December 30, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2424 N Old Gilbert Road, Mesa AZ 85213.
