Sherman Epling, 86, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021. He was born in Sharples, WV on August 26, 1934 to the late Charlie and Ida Epling. He retired from American Wire as a Machinist. He is survived by his sons, Kenneth (Tammy) Epling, Lexington, Clarence (Stephine) Epling, Frankfort, and Paul (Linda) Epling, Stanford; his sister, Sissy; his brother, William Epling; his grandchildren, Megan Petit, Amanda Burrows, Logan Epling, Caleb Epling, Luke Epling, and Destiny Wells; as well as his 7 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Jean Schell Greenup. Graveside service will be held at 12:30pm on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Kenneth Epling, Clarence Epling, Paul Epling, Logan Epling, Tyler Burrows, and Bradley Bailey. Visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12:30pm on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
